The Site is owned and operated by Lispira Corporation, USA (“CitizensRatings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Site Guidelines are part of, and governed by, our Terms of Use Agreement.

CitizensRatings.com empowers citizens to give constructive feedback on the performance and accountability of public figures, institutions, companies, and civil society. We promote civic engagement, transparency, and improvement by providing a safe and respectful space to rate and review:

Our platform helps the public make informed decisions, recognize impact, and support better governance and service delivery.
About the Platform
CitizensRatings.com allows verified users to post ratings and reviews about:

Who Can Submit a Review
You may submit a review only if you have directly engaged with or observed the entity or individual in a public or professional capacity. This includes:
✅ Interactions with officials through their public work or constituency services.
✅ Use of services provided by a government body, private company, NGO, or media outlet.
✅ Observations of leadership, conduct, or civic contributions made by senior citizens in public life.
Important: CitizensRatings.com is not the place to report crimes or emergencies. If you witness or are a victim of illegal behavior or are in danger, contact the police or relevant legal authorities.
How Moderation Works
All submissions are reviewed by a trained moderation team to ensure compliance with these guidelines. We allow both positive and negative reviews, provided they meet our standards. If you believe a comment violates these guidelines, click “Report This Rating” or contact us through the website contact us form on the contact us page. We do not edit reviews but may remove or reinstate them based on moderation findings.
Reviewer Guidelines
1. Be truthful – Only share genuine experiences and observations.
2. Stay constructive – Aim to inform and improve, not attack or defame.
3. Focus on actions, not identities – Avoid commenting on someone’s appearance, personal traits, or private life.
4. Use respectful language – Harassment, hate speech, or threats are prohibited.
5. Avoid hearsay – Speak only for yourself, not on behalf of others.
6. No personal attacks – Critique performance, not personality.
7. Avoid rage posting – Take time to write thoughtful, respectful feedback.
8. One review per subject per user – Repetitive posts may be removed.
9. No trolling or political dogpiling – The platform is not a battleground.
10. Use English – Except when a review involves entities operating in French-speaking communities.
Prohibited Content
We do not allow:
✅ Profanity, slurs, or hate speech.
✅ Comments based on ethnicity, gender, religion, age, or disability.
✅ Private or identifying information (e.g., ID numbers, phone numbers, home addresses).
✅ Allegations of criminal acts without credible context or evidence.
✅ Sexual innuendos or references to private relationships.
✅ False claims or impersonation.
✅ Political party propaganda or campaign materials.
✅ Reviews with advertisements or promotional links.
✅ Non-English content (except when relevant to French-language operations).
Guidelines for Rated Individuals & Entities
✅ You may not identify reviewers. Anonymity is protected.
✅ Profiles are created by CitizensRatings.com. Contact us if a profile needs to be claimed, updated, or corrected.
✅ Negative reviews will not be removed unless they violate our guidelines.
✅ Responses are welcome, but must follow the same respectful standards. Submit responses via the contact form.
✅ We do not resolve factual disputes. Public accountability happens through transparency, not arbitration.
✅ Self-ratings are not allowed. Accounts found doing so may be suspended or permanently banned.
Reporting a Rating
If a review violates these guidelines, click “Report This Rating” beneath the comment or use the contact form on the site. Please do not report reviews simply because you disagree with the opinion.
Legal Notice
CitizensRatings.com is protected under the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. Sec. 230) and applicable international standards for online user-generated content. We are not legally responsible for user-submitted reviews unless compelled by a valid court order. Legal threats will not result in content removal.
